We are going backwards. Not moving forward in any case. Both Tar and Hallow have the potential to be abused and both have their negative side effects also. Tar can be euphoric especially when it first begins to kick in. This usually lasts for an hour and a half. Hallow has a stronger euphoric feeling especially with the extended release version, which actually works to calm you down. The euphoric feeling of Hallow lasts about an hour and the awakeness feelings usually last for three. When either Tar or Hallow are taken in large quantities the effects can last all day.
Lineup:
Unit Moebius Anonymous
RHYW
Klankman
Thanos Hana
Unit Moebius Anonymous is the act risen from the legendary techno band Unit Moebius, which is the keystone of the notorious Acid Planet days. Their influences are still to be heard in contemporary dance music and some of the greatest such as Aphex Twin claimed to be a fan! After a hiatus of almost ten years a rebirth took place in 2007, when the key player of the band, Jan Duivenvoorden, started producing and playing live again. It's an absolute must for any techno fan to have witnessed a live performance by Unit Moebius Anonymous. His industrial yet spiritual live sets are from another planet. Techno will never sound the same again!
Under his Klankman moniker, maarten Epskamp brings his own twisted take on techno with a lavish amount of acid. Displaying a free-form DIY approach of rhythmic electronic music with an intuitive compositional approach. The result might sometimes be experimental and certainly be intriguing, but the dancefloor is never far away.
Thanos Hana is the label owner of TH±Tar Hallow Records, which was launched in 2015. He comes from Thessaloniki, Greece and based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Thanos has released tracks on TH±Tar Hallow, Planet Rhythm Records & Mord Records.
