In the last few years Mark Sherry has became one of Scotland's leading hard-edged DJ's known for his energetic sets filled with tricks and cutting edge tech-trance and techno releases and remixes. He is also best known for his hard and banging productions as part of Public Domain on Incentive Recordings especially the worldwide club smash "Operation Blade (Bass In The Place)" which has now sold well over 2 million copies and also his solo productions as "Outburst" on Detox and as "Mark Sherry" on Red Monkey Recordings. All of these projects are constantly supported by a lot of the A-list DJ's worldwide including Judge Jules, Marco V, Scot Project, Eddie Halliwell, Dave Pearce, Anne Savage, Matt Darey, Graham Goid, Johan Gielen, Guy Ornadel, Yoji Biomehanika and all the Inside Out and Goodgreef DJ's... and more!!!
Performing at endless amounts of gigs in his native country, Mark has played at Inside Out at The Arches as a "Local Hero" and also at Scotland's biggest festival Coloursfest, both situated in Glasgow. He has also played in almost every country on the planet including several tours of Australia playing for Frantic and Slinky and headlining a full house at the Utopia night in the Sydney Olympic Stadium Arena to over 10,000 people.
Japan has also been toured several times including gigs at Code and Velfarre in Tokyo and Underground in Osara. Other work includes the huge Homelands and also headlining at Gatecrasher's 1st ever televised festival on Rapture TV, Privelege in Ibiza 2 weeks in a row, playing at Fort Dance in St. Petersburg in Russia (where the venue is a fortress out at sea), Dance Valley in Holland with 90,000 and DJ'ing on one of the trucks at The Berlin Love Parade to 1 million people 3 years in a row!! Not only is Mark a club DJ, he hosts his own weekly radio show on West FM called "Public Domain Powermix", one of Scotland's best hard dance and trance shows. It has been going strong now for 6 years and you can listen to it every Saturday night from 8-10pm on 96.7FM on the west coast of Scotland including the central belt or you can listen online at www.westfm.co.uk .
Most recently, Mark has also started two new exciting monthly recidencies in Scotland. One is Freakuency @ The Pelican club in Aberdeen which is now also home to the Northern Inside Out - this is one of Scotland's newest and best underground venues that pulls in the crowds every week with its dark and intimate vibe. His other recidency is at Innocent @ Ice in Kilmarnock, another great new venue for banging tunes on a monthly basis.
